Crane ultrasonic humidifier runs but produces no mist at all.

Safety first: Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank before working on the base.

• 1. Confirm basic operation:
  • Verify the power light is on and the fan is running.
  • Ensure the tank is full and properly seated.
• 2. Clean the transducer:
  • Locate the metal disc in the base water well.
  • Soak the area with a 1:1 vinegar and water solution for 20–30 minutes.
  • Gently wipe the disc with a soft cloth or cotton swab.
• 3. Check for vibration:
  • Refill and power on; carefully look for ripples on the water surface above the disc.
  • No ripples usually indicate a failed transducer or driver.
• 4. Internal inspection (advanced):
  • Open the base and inspect the transducer wiring and connector to the control PCB.
  • Reseat connectors and look for burnt components near the driver circuit.
• 5. Replace transducer assembly:
  • If cleaning and wiring checks do not restore mist, replace the ultrasonic transducer module or the entire base assembly, depending on parts availability.
