Safety first: Unplug the dehumidifier before inspecting the bucket area.

• 1. Check bucket placement:
  • Remove and reinstall the water bucket, ensuring it is fully seated.
• 2. Inspect float mechanism:
  • Locate the float inside or above the bucket area.
  • Move the float up and down; it should move freely and return by gravity.
• 3. Test bucket switch:
  • Locate the bucket full microswitch actuated by the float or bucket edge.
  • Press the switch lever by hand; you should hear a distinct click.
• 4. Clean and adjust:
  • Remove any slime or mineral buildup around the float and switch.
  • Ensure the float arm is not bent or jammed.
• 5. Replace parts if needed:
  • If the switch does not click or tests open/closed incorrectly with a multimeter, replace the bucket full switch.
  • Replace a cracked or waterlogged float.
