How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Clean around buttons: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove sticky residue. Do not allow liquid to enter the panel.
- Step 2 – Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes and restart. Sometimes the microcontroller can lock up.
- Step 3 – Inspect ribbon cable (advanced): Remove the control panel cover and check the ribbon cable or harness between the keypad and main board. Reseat connectors.
- Step 4 – Replace keypad or panel: If individual buttons are unresponsive or the membrane is cracked, replace the control panel assembly.
When to call a technician: If the main board is not recognizing keypad inputs, board-level repair or replacement is needed.
