Possible Causes
Room temperature below minimum operating range, Faulty room temperature sensor reading too low, Unit placed near cold draft or unheated wall
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the unit is used only within the specified temperature range.
Step-by-step:
- 1. Check room temperature: Use a separate thermometer to verify the actual room temperature. If it is below about 5°C, move the unit to a warmer area.
- 2. Relocate the unit: Avoid placing the dehumidifier directly on cold concrete or next to an exterior wall where the sensor may read lower than room average.
- 3. Inspect temperature sensor: If the room is warm (above 10°C) but LO still appears, the room temperature sensor may be faulty. Follow the steps for E1 to inspect and replace the sensor.
- 4. Reset after warming: Once the unit is in a suitable environment, unplug for 5 minutes, then restart and confirm LO has cleared.
