Safety: Unplug the unit. Compressor circuits carry mains voltage.

- Listen for relay click: When the unit calls for cooling, you should hear a relay click. No click may indicate a PCB issue.
- Inspect start device: Access the compressor and remove the start relay/PTC. Check for burn marks or rattling pieces. Replace if damaged.
- Compressor test (advanced): Measure compressor winding resistance and check for continuity to ground. Replace the compressor if windings are open or shorted.
- PCB replacement: If the compressor and start device are good but no voltage is sent to the compressor, replace the main control PCB.
