Devola dehumidifier emits a musty or moldy smell from the air outlet.

Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning.

• Clean tank: Remove the water tank and wash it with warm soapy water. Disinfect with a mild bleach solution (rinse thoroughly) or a dedicated appliance disinfectant.
• Clean internal tray: With the tank removed, wipe the internal reservoir and any accessible surfaces with a disinfectant solution.
• Filter and coil: Wash the air filter and gently clean the evaporator coil with a coil cleaner suitable for dehumidifiers.
• Drying run: After cleaning, run the unit in fan-only mode (if available) for 30 minutes to help dry internal surfaces.
