Possible Causes
Misaligned water tank, cracked tank, blocked internal drain channel, disconnected drain hose, clogged condensate pump (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
- Check tank seating: Remove and reinstall the water tank, ensuring it is fully inserted and level.
- Inspect tank for cracks: Fill the tank at a sink and look for leaks. Replace the tank if it is cracked or warped.
- Clean drain channel: Remove the tank and locate the small drain outlet or channel above it. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove slime or debris.
- Continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached, slopes downward continuously, and is not kinked or blocked.
- Pump models: For Devola units with a built-in pump, access the pump tray and clean any sludge or scale. Check that the pump outlet hose is not blocked.
