Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on main PCB, faulty power cord, failed power supply section on PCB, tripped RCD due to earth leakage

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit and do not attempt live testing unless qualified.

  • Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm power is available.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord set if damaged.
  • RCD/Breaker: Reset any tripped breakers or RCDs. If they trip again when the unit is plugged in, there may be an internal short.
  • Internal fuse: Access the main PCB and check for a small glass or ceramic fuse. If blown, replace only with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, a deeper fault exists.
  • PCB replacement: If the power supply section on the PCB is visibly damaged or there is still no power after fuse replacement, replace the main control PCB.
