How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before cleaning or disassembly.
- Check water level and seating: Ensure the tank is full and correctly positioned so water flows into the base.
- Descale transducer: Inspect the ultrasonic disc and remove limescale with a vinegar solution as described earlier.
- Clear mist outlet: Check that the mist nozzle and outlet path are not blocked by mineral deposits or foreign objects.
- Transducer/PCB replacement: If there is still no mist, the transducer or its driver circuit may have failed. Replace the ultrasonic transducer assembly first; if that fails, replace the main PCB.
