Possible Causes

Room temperature below operating range, faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, unit placed in unheated space

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work is required for basic checks.

LO indicates the room temperature is too low for safe dehumidifier operation.

  • Check room temperature: Verify the ambient temperature with a separate thermometer. Many Devola dehumidifiers require above ~5–7°C to operate.
  • Move the unit: If the unit is in a cold garage, basement, or conservatory, move it to a warmer room within the specified operating range.
  • Sensor check: If the room is warm but LO still shows, the ambient NTC sensor may be faulty. Inspect and replace it as described for E1.
