Devola
Internal Water Reservoir Full / Pump Protection
Devola dehumidifier shows P1 and stops; water tank may be full or internal reservoir full.

Possible Causes
Full internal condensate tray, blocked drain hose, failed condensate pump (on pump-equipped models), stuck float switch, misaligned water tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before handling water components.
P1 usually indicates that the internal water reservoir or pump tray is full or not draining correctly.
- Empty the tank: Remove the main water tank, empty it completely, and reinstall it firmly. Ensure it is seated correctly so the tank switch is engaged.
- Check continuous drain: If using a continuous drain hose, disconnect it and verify it is not kinked, blocked, or routed uphill. Flush the hose with water to clear any debris.
- Inspect float switch: On some Devola models, an internal float switch in the pump tray detects high water level. Access the pump tray, gently move the float up and down, and ensure it moves freely and clicks the microswitch.
- Clean the tray: Remove any slime, mold, or debris from the internal tray that could jam the float or block the pump inlet.
- Test the pump (if fitted): With the unit reassembled, run it and listen for the condensate pump cycling. If the pump does not run and P1 returns, the pump may be faulty and require replacement.
