How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing covers. Moving parts can cause injury.

Steps:

Remove the rear or side panel to access the fan and blower assembly.
Inspect for loose screws, panels, or plastic parts vibrating against each other. Tighten all mounting hardware.
Check the blower wheel for cracks and ensure it is firmly secured to the motor shaft. Tighten or replace if loose or damaged.
Remove any foreign objects (plastic, insulation, debris) from the fan housing.
If the noise is a deep rumble from the compressor, inspect the rubber compressor mounting grommets. Replace if hardened or broken.
