Dehumidifier vibrates excessively and moves on the floor

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting or opening it.

Steps:

• Place the dehumidifier on a level, solid surface. Adjust any leveling feet if provided.
• Check that all four corners of the base contact the floor evenly; use shims if necessary.
• Open the cabinet and inspect the fan wheel for missing blades or heavy dust buildup on one side. Clean and replace if damaged.
• Tighten all cabinet screws and internal mounting brackets.
• If vibration persists and appears to originate from the compressor, inspect and replace worn compressor mounting grommets.
