Humidifier displays F1 and stops producing mist

Possible Causes
Empty or improperly seated water tank, Failed water level float or reed switch, Mineral buildup on level sensor electrodes, Damaged level sensor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the humidifier before removing the water tank.
Steps:
- Remove the water tank, fill it to the recommended level, and reinstall it carefully so it sits flat and engages any actuating pins or valves.
- Inspect the float chamber or level sensor area in the base. Clean away mineral deposits or slime using a soft brush and white vinegar, then rinse and dry.
- For models with a magnetic float and reed switch, ensure the float moves freely and is not waterlogged. Replace the float if it no longer floats properly.
- If the unit still shows F1, access the base and locate the water level sensor assembly. Check wiring and connector to the control PCB.
- Test the reed switch or electrode sensor according to the service manual. Replace the level sensor assembly if it fails continuity or resistance tests.
