Humidifier leaks water from base or around tank

Safety: Unplug the humidifier and wipe up any spilled water.

Steps:

• Remove the water tank and inspect for cracks, especially around seams and handle. Replace the tank if damaged.
• Check the tank cap and rubber gasket for wear or deformation. Replace the tank cap gasket if it no longer seals properly.
• Ensure the tank valve or plug is installed correctly and not cross-threaded.
• Fill only to the indicated maximum level. Overfilling can cause leaks when the tank is inverted onto the base.
