Possible Causes
Unit placed too close to walls or windows, Fan speed too low for mist output, Room too small for selected output level, Blocked outlet directing mist downward
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before relocating.
- 1. Reposition the unit: Place the humidifier at least 30–50 cm (12–20 in) away from walls and windows, on a raised surface if possible.
- 2. Adjust settings: Lower the humidity setpoint or mist output level, and increase fan speed to distribute mist more evenly.
- 3. Ventilate room: Slightly open a door or vent to allow moisture to disperse.
- 4. Check outlet direction: Ensure the outlet is not obstructed or angled directly at a surface.
