Possible Causes
Partially failed ultrasonic transducer, Heavy mineral scaling on transducer, Low water level in base reservoir despite full tank, Blocked mist outlet path
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank before cleaning.
- 1. Verify water transfer: Fill the tank, install it, then remove it again to confirm water has flowed into the base reservoir. If the base is dry, check the tank cap valve and seals for blockage.
- 2. Descale transducer: Pour a 1:1 white vinegar and warm water solution into the base to cover the transducer area. Let soak 20–30 minutes. Gently wipe the transducer surface with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry.
- 3. Clear mist outlet: Inspect the mist outlet channel for dust or film. Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with distilled water.
- 4. Test with distilled water: Refill with distilled water and run the unit on maximum output. If there is still no mist, the transducer is likely weak or failed and should be replaced.
