Dyson humidifier vibrates excessively or walks across the surface during operation

Safety first: Unplug the unit before repositioning.

• 1. Level the surface: Move the humidifier to a flat, sturdy surface such as a solid table or floor. Avoid soft or uneven surfaces.
• 2. Fill tank properly: Ensure the tank is filled to the recommended level. Very low water can cause sloshing and imbalance.
• 3. Check for external contact: Make sure the unit is not touching walls, curtains, or other objects that can resonate.
• 4. Observe fan behavior: Run the unit and watch for wobbling of the upper body. If the fan wheel is visibly out of balance or the housing vibrates strongly, internal mounts or the fan assembly may be damaged and require replacement.
