Dyson humidifier water tank is difficult to remove or install, sometimes causing improper operation

Safety first: Unplug the unit before forcing any parts.

• 1. Inspect guides and rails: Look at the tank guides on the base and the mating surfaces on the tank. Remove any debris or mineral buildup.
• 2. Lubricate seals lightly: Wipe tank O-rings with a damp cloth, then apply a very thin film of food-grade silicone grease if recommended by the manufacturer.
• 3. Align carefully: Insert the tank straight down, aligning any arrows or marks. Do not twist or force it.
• 4. Replace damaged tank: If the tank appears warped or cracked, replace it. Forcing a damaged tank can cause leaks and sensor issues.
