Check delay timer: Many Electrolux units have a 3–5 minute compressor delay. Wait this period after turning on before concluding it won't start.

Test start components: Access the compressor terminals and test the start relay and capacitor as described in E6. Replace any defective parts.
Measure compressor windings: With power off and wires removed, check resistance between compressor terminals. Infinite or zero readings indicate a failed compressor.
Control board output: If the compressor and start components are good, check if the main board is sending voltage to the compressor when it should. If not, replace the board.
