Steps to correct F1:

• Clean the sensor area: Remove the front grille and gently clean around the humidity sensor with dry compressed air. Avoid liquids.
• Reseat connector: Disconnect and reconnect the humidity sensor plug at the main board to ensure a solid connection.
• Compare humidity reading: Power the unit and compare its displayed humidity to a known-good hygrometer placed nearby. A large discrepancy suggests sensor or board issues.
• Replace humidity sensor: If readings are unstable or far off, replace the humidity sensor module.
• Control board replacement: If a new sensor does not resolve F1 or the display still shows unrealistic humidity, replace the main control board.

Warning: Do not attempt to manually recalibrate the sensor unless Electrolux provides a specific procedure for your model.
