Low Humidity Reading / Sensor Out of Range
Display shows LO humidity reading and the humidifier runs continuously but room still feels dry.

Possible Causes
Room humidity genuinely very low, Humidity sensor out of calibration, Sensor exposed to direct airflow from unit, Sensor wiring partially damaged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening any covers.
- Verify actual humidity: Use a separate hygrometer in the room to confirm humidity. If it is indeed very low (below sensor range), the LO reading is normal.
- Relocate the unit: Move the humidifier away from heat sources, vents, or direct sunlight, which can affect sensor readings.
- Clean sensor area: If accessible, gently clean the humidity sensor opening or grille with a soft brush to remove dust.
- Check wiring: Inspect the sensor harness for kinks or damage if the unit has been moved frequently.
- Test after relocation: Run the unit for several hours and compare the display to your external hygrometer. If LO persists despite normal room humidity, the sensor may be failing.
Persistent incorrect LO readings usually require replacement of the humidity sensor or control board.
