How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before any disassembly. Do not work on live circuits.
- Verify outlet: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
- Inspect power cord: Check for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, replace the cord assembly.
- Check the control board fuse: Remove the housing to access the control board. Many Essick Air units have a small glass or blade fuse. If blown, replace with the same type and rating.
