Essick Air
Bottle Valve or Airlock Problem
Water bottle does not empty into the base; unit runs dry quickly and shuts off.

Possible Causes
Bottle cap valve clogged with mineral deposits, Airlock due to improper bottle seating, Vent hole in cap blocked, Float stuck in closed position in base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit before removing the bottle.
- Test valve flow: Remove the bottle cap and press the valve stem over a sink. Water should flow freely. If not, soak the cap in vinegar to dissolve scale and rinse thoroughly.
- Clear vent hole: Ensure any small vent hole in the cap is not blocked by debris or scale.
- Check float movement: In the base, verify that the float (if equipped) moves freely up and down. Clean off mineral buildup.
- Properly seat bottle: Refill the bottle, install the cap, and place it squarely on the base. Push down until you see a steady stream of air bubbles.
If the bottle still does not empty, replace the bottle cap/valve assembly.
