Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker or blown household fuse, Faulty power cord, Failed internal fuse on main control board, Defective main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always unplug the unit before opening any panels. If you are not comfortable working with electrical components, contact a technician.
Steps to troubleshoot no power:
- Check outlet: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm it has power. Reset any tripped breakers.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. If damaged, replace the power cord assembly.
- Test another outlet: Move the unit to a known-good outlet without an extension cord.
- Internal fuse: Remove the outer cover to access the main control board. Look for a small glass or ceramic fuse. If blown, replace with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- Control board: If the fuse is good and power is present at the board but the unit is dead, replace the main control board.
