Dehumidifier displays HI for humidity and may run continuously.

Steps to address HI:

• Verify actual humidity: Use a separate hygrometer. If humidity is indeed very high (above 90%), the reading may be accurate and the unit will run continuously until humidity drops.
• Improve room conditions: Close windows and doors, reduce open water sources, and improve room ventilation.
• Clean sensor: Remove the front grille and gently clean dust from the humidity sensor using compressed air.
• Inspect wiring: Check the humidity sensor harness for damage. Replace the humidity sensor if HI persists in a normal-humidity environment.
