Possible Causes
Room temperature below operating range, Faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, Unit placed near a cold draft or on a cold floor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: LO is usually an informational code indicating the room is too cold for safe operation.
Steps to address LO:
- Check room temperature: Verify the room is above the minimum operating temperature (typically 41°F / 5°C). Move the unit to a warmer location if needed.
- Avoid cold drafts: Do not place the dehumidifier directly on a cold concrete floor or near open windows in winter.
- Sensor check: If the room is warm but LO still shows, inspect the ambient temperature sensor and wiring as described under E1.
