Possible Causes
Stuck buttons, Moisture in control panel, Failed keypad membrane, Faulty display/control PCB, Loose ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the unit has been exposed to moisture, allow it to dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours.
- Clean button area: Wipe the control surface with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
- Inspect internal connections: Remove the control panel and check the ribbon cable between the keypad and PCB. Reseat it.
- Test individual buttons: With the unit powered, see if any buttons respond. If none do, the keypad or PCB may be faulty.
- Replace control panel: Replace the keypad or entire control panel assembly if unresponsive. If that does not help, replace the display/control PCB.
