Dehumidifier shows E7 and will not operate normally; some buttons may not respond.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working on the control panel. Avoid using liquids directly on electronics.

• Check for stuck buttons: With the unit unplugged, press each button several times to feel for sticking or lack of click. Debris or spilled liquids can cause keys to stick.
• Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to moisture (e.g., from a nearby humidifier or spill), allow it to dry completely for 24 hours in a warm, dry room before retesting.
• Clean around buttons: Use a slightly damp cloth (not dripping) to clean the surface around the buttons. Do not let water seep into the panel. Dry thoroughly.
• Inspect internal connections: Remove the control panel cover and check the ribbon cable or harness from the keypad to the display board. Reseat the connector.
• Replace control panel: If E7 persists and certain buttons do not respond, the keypad membrane or display PCB is likely defective. Replace the complete control panel assembly or display board as specified for your Haier model.
