Possible Causes

Any of the temperature or humidity sensors out of range, Loose sensor harness, Control board firmware error, Corrupted configuration on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening any covers.

  • Full reset: Unplug the dehumidifier for 15–20 minutes. Press and hold the power button (if accessible) for 10 seconds while unplugged to discharge residual power. Plug back in and test.
  • Check all sensors: Inspect the ambient temperature sensor, evaporator sensor, and humidity sensor wiring for damage or loose connectors. Reseat each connector at the PCB.
  • Inspect PCB: Look for obvious damage such as burn marks, cracked solder joints, or bulging capacitors.
  • Model-specific codes: Consult the Haier user manual for your exact model, as F0 may map to a specific sensor. Replace the indicated sensor if identified.
  • Board replacement: If all sensors and wiring appear intact and F0 persists, the main control board may be defective and require replacement.
