Possible Causes

Mineral buildup on ultrasonic transducer, Clogged mist outlet, Low water level, Faulty ultrasonic module or heater, Incorrect water tank seating

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the humidifier before cleaning. Do not use abrasive tools on the transducer.

  • Check water level and tank: Ensure the tank is full and properly seated on the base so water flows into the reservoir.
  • Clean transducer: For ultrasonic Haier humidifiers, gently clean the metal transducer disc with a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar to remove mineral deposits. Rinse and dry.
  • Clean mist outlet: Remove any mineral crust or dust from the mist outlet and internal channels.
  • Use distilled water: To prevent future buildup, use distilled or demineralized water.
  • Module replacement: If there is still no mist after cleaning and proper water level, the ultrasonic module or heater assembly may be faulty and require replacement.
