Possible Causes

Worn membrane switches, Moisture under control panel, Loose ribbon cable, Failed UI board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

  • Check for control lock: Some Hisense models have a child lock. Hold the lock button (or specified key combination) for several seconds to unlock.
  • Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to moisture, allow it to dry completely. You can gently blow air across it with a fan.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and ensure the flat ribbon cable is fully seated in its connector on the main PCB.
  • Replace UI board: If specific buttons never work or the panel is unresponsive despite good connections, replace the user interface control board.
