Possible Causes
Burned-out fan motor, Seized fan bearings, Broken fan blade jammed, Faulty fan capacitor (if used), Loose fan motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit. Do not run the compressor without a working fan; it can overheat.
- Check for obstructions: Look through the grille for foreign objects blocking the fan. Remove any debris.
- Spin fan by hand: With power off, gently spin the fan. If it is stiff or does not spin freely, the motor bearings may be seized.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the cover and check the fan motor connector on the PCB. Reseat it firmly.
- Replace fan motor: If the motor is not running when powered and is receiving voltage (technician test), replace the fan motor assembly with a Hisense-compatible part.
