Safety first: Unplug the unit.

• Dry the sensor area: If the unit has been exposed to condensation or a spill, allow it to dry completely. Use a fan to speed drying.
• Inspect sensor wiring: Look for pinched or crushed sensor wires that could be shorting together.
• Check connector: Remove and inspect the sensor connector on the PCB for corrosion or conductive debris. Clean with isopropyl alcohol if needed.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor measures near 0 Ω or shows visible damage, replace it.
