Homedics dehumidifier displays CF or filter icon and may beep; unit still runs but requests maintenance.

Safety: Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning.

Steps to clear CF:

• Remove filter: Locate the air filter behind the intake grille and slide it out.
• Clean filter: Vacuum the filter or wash it with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
• Clean grilles: Wipe the intake and exhaust grilles with a damp cloth to remove dust.
• Reinstall and reset: Reinsert the dry filter. Press and hold the filter reset button (or as specified in your Homedics manual) for several seconds until the CF indicator clears.
