Homedics ultrasonic humidifier produces very weak mist output even on high setting.

Safety: Unplug and empty the unit before cleaning.

Steps to improve mist output:

• Clean transducer: Soak the disc area with white vinegar for 10–15 minutes and gently scrub off scale. Rinse thoroughly.
• Clean mist outlet: Remove any mist chimney or nozzle and rinse it under warm water. Use a soft brush to clear any deposits.
• Replace water filter: If your Homedics model uses a demineralization cartridge, replace it if it is older than the recommended interval or visibly discolored.
• Check water level: Ensure the tank is full and water fully covers the transducer during operation.
