How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Dry the panel: If the panel was recently exposed to cleaning sprays or condensation, allow it to dry for several hours in a warm, dry room.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front control panel and check the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and main board. Reseat both ends and ensure there are no kinks or cracks.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on connectors; clean gently with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
- Replace interface board: If E0 persists and buttons are unresponsive, replace the user interface/control panel board.
- Main board check: If a new interface board does not resolve the issue, the main control board may also need replacement.
