Internal Water Drainage Leak
Dehumidifier leaks water onto the floor instead of into the bucket

Possible Causes
Clogged internal drain channel, Misaligned bucket or drain trough, Cracked drain pan, Unit not level front-to-back
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Dry any spilled water to avoid slipping and electrical hazards.
Steps:
- Level the unit: Use a level to ensure the dehumidifier is slightly tilted toward the bucket side as specified in the manual. Adjust feet or surface as needed.
- Inspect bucket: Remove the bucket and check for cracks or missing pieces. Replace if damaged.
- Clean drain channel: With the bucket removed, locate the drain opening where water drips into the bucket. Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clear any slime or debris.
- Access drain pan: Remove the front cover to inspect the plastic drain pan under the evaporator coil. Clean out mold, algae, or dirt buildup.
- Check for cracks: If the drain pan is cracked, water will leak before reaching the bucket. Replace the drain pan assembly if cracked.
Tip: Periodic cleaning of the drain path helps prevent future leaks and mold growth.
