Humidifier shuts off even though there is still water in the tank

Steps:

• Reseat tank: Remove and reinstall the water tank, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated.
• Clean float/sensor: Access the base and clean the float or water level probes with vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
• Check float movement: Ensure the float moves freely up and down. Replace if waterlogged or cracked.
• Test: Refill the tank and observe operation. If it still shuts off prematurely, the level sensor or control board may be faulty.

Note: Some models have a small air vent in the tank cap; ensure it is not blocked, as this can prevent water from flowing into the base.
