Possible Causes
Any NTC sensor open or shorted, Sensor harness unplugged, Corroded sensor connectors, Main PCB sensor input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before inspection.
- Identify sensors: Most Inventor dehumidifiers have at least an ambient NTC, evaporator NTC, and sometimes a discharge or defrost NTC. Locate each sensor and its wiring.
- Check all connectors: One by one, unplug and replug each sensor connector on the main PCB. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
- Visual inspection of wires: Ensure no sensor wires are cut, pinched by panels, or chewed by pests.
- Resistance test: Measure resistance of each sensor at room temperature and compare values. Any sensor reading 0 Ω or infinite is defective.
- Replace faulty sensor(s): Install the correct Inventor NTC sensor for the location that tests bad.
- PCB replacement: If all sensors test good and F0 persists, the main PCB sensor circuit may be damaged and require replacement.
