Dehumidifier displays HI humidity and may not control properly

Safety: Ensure the unit is on a stable, dry surface away from direct water spray.

• Ventilation: Improve room ventilation or reduce moisture sources (e.g., boiling water, open bathroom doors) to bring humidity into a normal range.
• Dry the sensor: Turn the unit off and allow it to sit in a dry environment for several hours. In some cases, running the fan-only mode (if available) can help dry the sensor.
• Inspect sensor: Access the humidity sensor and check for condensation or corrosion. Clean gently if needed.
• Replace humidity sensor: If HI persists in normal conditions, replace the humidity sensor module.
