Inventor humidifier shows water in tank but indicates empty and will not run

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the tank.

• Re-seat tank: Remove and reinstall the tank carefully, ensuring it sits flat and engages any actuating pins or magnets.
• Clean float: If the tank has a float, clean it and its guide with warm soapy water to remove scale or slime.
• Sensor inspection: On the base, locate the reed switch or electronic level sensor. Check for damage or misalignment.
• Replace sensor: If the unit still thinks the tank is empty, replace the water level sensor / reed switch assembly.
