• Continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached to the rear drain port, slopes downward continuously, and is not kinked or submerged in standing water.
• Level the unit: Make sure the dehumidifier is on a level surface so water flows correctly into the bucket or hose.
• Test for leaks: Reassemble, run the unit, and monitor for leaks. If water still escapes from the cabinet, inspect internal drain pan connections; a damaged drain pan or fitting may need replacement.
