Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main control board, faulty power cord, failed main control board, defective control panel power button, tripped household breaker or bad outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure the unit is unplugged before opening any panels. Do not bypass safety fuses.
Steps:
- Check outlet: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm power. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. If damaged, replace the power cord assembly.
- Try power button: Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds. Some models require a long press.
- Internal fuse (advanced): Remove the front or side panel to access the main control board. Look for a small glass or ceramic fuse. Test with a multimeter and replace with the same rating if blown.
- Board replacement: If the fuse is good and power still does not reach the display, the main control board or display board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
