Possible Causes
Broken or detached blower wheel, blocked air intake or outlet, collapsed air duct inside cabinet, fan motor spinning but not driving blower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the unit.
Steps:
- Check filter and grilles: Remove and clean the filter. Ensure nothing is blocking the intake or exhaust.
- Inspect blower wheel: Remove the front cover and observe the blower wheel while briefly powering the unit (use extreme caution and keep hands clear). If the motor shaft spins but the wheel does not, the wheel is stripped or detached.
- Replace blower wheel: With power off, remove the damaged blower wheel and install a new Keystone-compatible wheel, securing it firmly to the motor shaft.
- Check ducts: Ensure any internal air guides or ducts are not collapsed or out of position.
