Possible Causes
Any of the onboard sensors (temperature, humidity, coil) reading out of range, loose sensor connector, damaged sensor harness, control board analog circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the housing.
Steps:
- Reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes and restart. If F0 returns, proceed.
- Inspect all sensors: Locate the room temperature sensor, evaporator temperature sensor, and humidity sensor. Check that each is firmly mounted and that their wires are not damaged.
- Reseat connectors: One by one, unplug and replug each sensor connector at the main PCB.
- Visual board check: Look for burn marks or corrosion on the main control board around the sensor connectors.
- Replace suspect sensor: If one sensor appears damaged or loose in its casing, replace that specific Keystone sensor with an OEM part.
- Persistent F0: If all sensors appear normal, the main control board may be defective and require replacement.
