Possible Causes

Room temperature below operating range, faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, control board miscalibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: LO is usually an informational code indicating the room is too cold for normal dehumidification.

  • Check room temperature: Use a separate thermometer to verify the room is above the minimum operating temperature (typically around 41°F/5°C). If not, move the unit to a warmer space.
  • Allow warm-up: If the unit was stored in a cold area, let it sit unplugged at room temperature for several hours before use.
  • Sensor check: If LO appears even in a warm room, inspect the room temperature sensor and its wiring for damage or disconnection.
  • Replace sensor: Install a new ambient temperature sensor if the old one is faulty. If LO persists, the main control board may be misreading and require replacement.
