Possible Causes
Mineral buildup on ultrasonic transducer, low water level, clogged mist outlet, fan not running at full speed, failed transducer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and empty the tank before cleaning. Do not operate the humidifier without water.
Steps:
- Check water level: Ensure the tank is full and properly seated.
- Clean transducer: Gently clean the ultrasonic transducer disc with a cotton swab and white vinegar to remove scale, then rinse and dry.
- Clear mist outlet: Inspect the mist outlet and internal channels for dust or mineral deposits and clean with a soft brush.
- Verify fan operation: Ensure the internal fan is running; if weak or not running, replace the fan motor.
- Replace transducer: If cleaning does not restore mist, replace the ultrasonic transducer assembly.
