How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to avoid slipping or electrical hazards.
- Check tank seating: Remove and reinstall the water tank, ensuring it is fully inserted and level. Inspect the tank for cracks.
- Inspect drain channel: Remove front cover to access the evaporator drain tray. Clear any slime, dust, or mold blocking the drain hole using a pipe cleaner or soft brush.
- Flush with water: Pour a small amount of warm water into the tray and confirm it flows into the tank or through the drain hose.
- Check internal hose: If equipped with a continuous drain, verify the internal hose from the tray to the outlet is securely attached and not cracked. Replace if leaking.
- Replace drain pan: If the plastic drain pan is cracked, replace it with the correct Klarstein part.
