Possible Causes

Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to water, allow it to dry completely for 24 hours in a warm, dry place.
Inspect ribbon cable: Reseat the cable between the keypad/touch board and the main PCB. Clean contacts if corroded.
Clean surface: Wipe the control surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly; avoid harsh chemicals.
Replace control panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the entire control panel or touch PCB with a Klarstein original part.
